I love sparkling wine. Back when I had a cocktail with brunch with friend I picked a Mmosa over Bloody Mary every time. There are some really great sparkling wines out there now, too, (see my Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine Taste Test) to give you the taste and feel of a real champagne cocktail. Hereโs an easy and fun nonalcoholic sparkling wine mocktail recipe for your next brunch experience ๐๐ป
INGREDIENTS
Plain seltzer, champagne, or nonalcoholic sparkling wine (I love Noughty Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Chardonney)
1/3 cup blueberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp maple syrup or honey
splash of water
METHOD
1. Blend blueberries, lemon juice, maple syrup or honey, and splash of water. Strain into a bowl or small pitcher.
2. Pour desired amount of blueberry lemon mixture into your glass (Iโd start with 3 tbsp).
3. Top with a serving of seltzer or nonalcoholic sparkling wine.
4. Garnish with lemon rind or blueberries and enjoy!
